Next ‘Freeport on Foot’ Guided Walking Tour, Saturday, September 11, 10am

Freeport Historical Society (FHS) offers guided walking tours through historic Freeport Village.  Dates remaining include  September 11 and September 25.

These one-hour tours all begin at Harrington House, 45 Main Street. Free parking is available at the rear of the building.

Led by experienced guide and history-enthusiast, Nancy Gunn, you’ll hear stories about Freeport’s early leaders, significant events and important architectural gems.  Did you know Freeport had its own hospital?

Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. The tour takes approximately one hour. Check our weather hotline at 865-3170 for any cancellation message due to inclement weather.  Reservations are urged and each tour is limited to 20 people.

Tickets are $7.00 Adults, $3.00 Members, and children ages 16 years old and younger are free.
