We appreciate your support of Freeport Historical Society (FHS), a non-profit, tax-exempt organization.
You may designate your donation for the Building Fund or the Annual Fund.
The Building Fund represents your opportunity to invest in our downtown and continue to shape Freeport into a center for history, arts, and culture. We need an additional $500,000 to complete this project that will protect the collection, make our buildings accessible, stabilize the barn, and provide research/library space.
With no fundraising events due to the pandemic, your donation to our Annual Fund matters now more than ever. Your Annual Fund donations support maintenance and repairs to our two architectural gems- Harrington House and Pettengill Farm; our public programs, lectures, workshops, and exhibits; our Collections care and acquisitions; and to operations.
Does your company offer a matching gifts/grants program for your donation? As a tax-exempt organization, FHS qualifies to participate in matching gifts/grants programs. Contact the administrator of the program at your company for the necessary form.
We are also able to accept and grateful for donations of stock. Please contact us if you wish to do so.
